Unit of Measure (UOM)

Unit of Measure (UOM) is a master list of all measurement units your organization uses for products. Once created, UOMs can be assigned to products in the Product form, enabling consistent measurement across purchasing, sales, and inventory operations.

All commonly used UOMs are already pre-configured in the system. In most cases, you will not need to create new ones. If the need arises, ensure you first evaluate all existing records that might be suitable for your requirement. Ultro may already have similar names or abbreviations. Creating a new UOM without evaluating existing ones may result in duplicate records.

How to Create a UOM​

  1. Navigate to: Products → Product Configuration → UOMs
  2. Click Create
  3. Enter the UOM name and details
  4. Save

Once created, the UOM will be available for selection in the Product form.
