What is a Lead?
This page describes how Leads are represented and used in Ultro ERP.
A Lead is an initial record representing a potential business opportunity — typically a person or organization who has shown interest in your product or services. Leads are often captured through forms, imports, manual entry, or partner referrals and are the starting point of the sales funnel in Ultro ERP.
Why track leads:
- Capture contact details and the context of interest.
- Qualify and route opportunities to the correct sales teams.
- Convert high-quality leads into Opportunities (enquiries) for follow up.
Common lead fields:
- Customer / Contact name
- Company
- Email / Phone
- Source / Channel
- Lead status and priority
- Assigned team / user
Leads are managed in the CRM area. Use the left-side menu: CRM → Leads to see the full list, or CRM → My Lead to view leads assigned to your user account.
