Consumables

Consumables are low-value items that are frequently used and replenished (for example cleaning supplies, adhesives, and packaging tapes). They are normally tracked but treated differently for accounting and stock revaluation compared to higher-value inventory.

Key characteristics:

  • Low unit cost, high usage rate.
  • May be tracked by quantity but often excluded from detailed valuation processes.
  • Replenishment is typically handled via simple purchase or kanban flows.

How to work with Consumables in Ultro ERP:

  • Visit Products → Consumables to view and manage consumables.
  • Click an item to inspect usage patterns, preferred vendors, and reorder levels.
  • Add a consumable using Add New, specify unit of measure and replenishment settings.
  • Use the list filters and saved views to manage frequent restock lists.
