Product Groups

Product groups provide an additional dimension to organize products beyond categories. It allows you to tag products with group labels for filtering, reporting, and bulk operations.

What is Product Grouping?

Grouping is a simple tagging mechanism that lets you bundle products across different categories. While categories define where a product belongs structurally, groups let you create cross-category collections for business purposes.

Examples of Product Groups:

Group NamePurpose
Summer CollectionSeasonal promotion
Fast Moving ItemsInventory planning
Premium ProductsPricing strategy
Clearance StockDead stock management
Export ApprovedCompliance filtering

A product can belong to multiple groups. For example, a product could be tagged as "Summer Collection" + "Fast Moving Items" + "Premium Products" simultaneously.
