Semi Finished Goods / WIP

Semi Finished Goods (Work In Progress) are items that are part-way through the manufacturing process. They are neither raw materials nor finished goods, and they often appear as intermediate outputs of production operations.

Common characteristics:

• Used as inputs to subsequent manufacturing steps.
• May have quantity-in-progress tracked against job orders or production requests.
• Valuation and costing are typically transferred to the final finished good when consumption or completion is recorded.

How to work with Semi Finished Goods in Ultro ERP:

• Navigate to Products → Semi Finished Goods / WIP to view the list of items.
• Click any row to view the product record and its stock/valuation details.
• Add a new semi finished item using Add New and supply attributes such as BOM references, unit of measure, and costing method.
