Services

Services are non-tangible offerings such as consulting, installation, maintenance, or professional support that can be sold and invoiced like products but do not have physical inventory.

Key characteristics:

  • No physical stock to track; invoiced based on time, milestones or fixed fees.
  • Often associated with service-level agreements (SLAs), contracts, or recurring billing.
  • Pricing, billing terms, and resource tracking (time sheets) are important attributes.

How to work with Services in Ultro ERP:

  • Go to Products → Services to view or add service items used for sales and billing.
  • Click a row to review pricing, billing method and default accounts.
  • Add a service with Add New, include details like billing frequency, unit (hour/day/flat fee) and revenue account.
  • Use filters to find services by customer, billing type or internal tags.

Note: In Ultro ERP, services are modeled alongside physical products so that sales and invoicing workflows remain consistent across product types.
