Convert Lead to Opportunity / Enquiry

This page explains the Lead → Opportunity conversion process in Ultro ERP. When a lead is qualified and converted, Ultro creates an Opportunity (Enquiry) record that supports pipeline management, quotations, and forecasting.

When a lead is qualified, convert it into an Opportunity (or Enquiry) to start a structured sales process.

Steps:

  1. Open the lead record you want to convert (CRM → Leads → click a row).
  2. Click Convert (or Convert to Opportunity) button on the lead form.
  3. Fill any required fields for the Opportunity: expected value, probability, expected close date and any notes.
  4. Confirm conversion. The Opportunity record will be created and linked to the original lead for traceability.

Notes:

  • Conversion keeps a reference to the originating lead so you can trace the history.
  • Opportunities support further actions like quotations, tasks and pipeline management.
